ABOUT THE OHIO UNIVERSITY PIANO PEDAGOGY SEMINAR
The Ohio University Piano Pedagogy Seminar provides piano teachers and students with professional enrichment opportunities through a series of energizing workshops, presentations and performances. This year's program will explore a variety of relevant and stimulating pedagogical topics. Participants will have opportunities to share ideas and engage in dialogue with clinicians and with one another through round-table discussions and informal conversations. The event is held on the Athens campus of Ohio University in the scenic hills of southeast Ohio.
ABOUT THE OHIO UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC
One of six schools in the College of Fine Arts, the School of Music is a significant part of the vibrant cultural life of the Ohio University campus. School of Music students, faculty, and guest artists present more than 200 concerts and recitals each year. A distinguished faculty of 40 music professors serves a primarily residential student body of approximately 230 undergraduate and 50 master’s students. Degree programs include music education, performance, pedagogy, music therapy, conducting, music history and literature, music theory, and composition.
